Au aranjat un vast concert... Pe galbene alei, poeti tristi declama lungi poeme- E-o toamna, ca intotdeauna, cand totul geme, Frumos, si inert. Pe strazi elegante, ca o parere, Femeia moderna a trecut si revine; Tot haosul e-o veselie de eter. Si, daca se zguduie orasul, Si creierul ramane pierdut; Si daca munca trosneste din brate, din piatra, din fier,- Multimea anonima se va avea in vedere. Tot, ce-mi trebuie sa am, pot sa cer.
